I will start a review on Pu-Erh-Tea among the teas I recently purchased.
It's a Pu-Erh-Tea from the brand NUMI, and it costs approximately $9.
I happend to come across this Pu-Erh-Tea while looking at other teas, and the fact that it is shaped like a chocolate bar intrigued me so much that I clicked the purchase buttons.
Pu-Erh-Tea is a type of tea that is compressed into a unique shape, often resempling a tea block or cake. Originating from China and Japan, it undergoes a special fermentation process, Contributing to its distinctive flavor and armoa.
Pu-Erh-Tea is compact for convenient storage and can be aged over time. The fermentation process enhances the richness of the tea extract, making it popular among tea enthusiasts.
Numi's Pu-Erh-Tea has arrived from China's Yunnan province. To enjoy, it's suggested to steep one piece of Pu-Erh-Tea in a 10 oz teapot with hot water. It's recommended to steep the same piece aboutu four times.
The appearance when the package is opened gives the impression as if there might be dollars inside. LOL
Upon opening the paper bag, there's Pu-Erh-Tea bar that looks easy to cut, making it convenient for individual servings.
I steeped one piece of NUMI's Pu-Erh-Tea in a teapot with size of approximately 500ml as indicated on the package.
I steeped it a total of 4 times, with the first steeping producing a very strong brew and subsequent steepings yielding a tea of moderate intensity.
In the past, when I had Pu-Erh-Tea from China, I experienced severe dryness in the throat. However, with NUMI's Pu-Erh-Tea, the throat feel is good, and it doesn't have strong odor, yet it captures the rich taste of Pu-Erh-Tea, which I find enjoyable.
